Lab Staff

GinaMarie Tonini
Gina earned her Master’s degree in Business Administration and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Salve Regina University. After graduation, Gina worked as a Opioid Treatment Program counselor before joining the Memory and Aging Program (MAP) at Butler Hospital in 2018. Over four years, she held various roles assisting with and coordinating different clinical research studies before becoming the Assistant Manager of MAP. Currently, Gina continues to pursue her passion for early detection and prevention research through the Alzheimer’s Biomarker Lab.

Ashley Price
Ashley is a University of South Florida graduate with a BS in psychology and an MS in Applied Aging Sciences. After graduation, she worked as a psychometrist at BayCare Memory Clinic. In her current role as a Research Associate, Ashley assists with studies at the Memory and Aging Program with a focus on identifying early detection of AD risk.

Megan Stradtman, Ph.D.
Dr. Stradtman works as a Senior Research Assistant in the Alzheimer’s Biomarker Lab. She earned a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University in 2023, where her research efforts were focused on maintaining and improving vocal function and quality of life in older adulthood. Dr. Stradtman is also a certified, licensed speech-language pathologist and has worked clinically with older adults primarily in long-term care settings.

Abby Doster, Research Assistant
Abby graduated from URI in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience: Molecular Neuroscience. Prior to working for the Alber Lab, she worked in the Manuel Lab studying an ALS mouse model looking at gamma, alpha, and beta motor neurons. For the Alber Lab, she works as a Research Assistant on the ARIAS 2 study.
